Masuood Akhtar came to Dr. Ravi’s Balrampur clinic on 25th March 2016 with complaints of eruptions and inflammation all over the scalp. His father told that he is suffering from folliculitis decalvans from last 1 year. His father also mentioned that these scalp eruptions arises whenever the weather changes. He also complained of itching, dryness and scarring on the scalp. The itching was so frequent that he can’t control and end up scratching. Once scratched the scalp eruptions start to bleed. He was too young to face this trouble. Inflamed scalp resulted into loss of hair. People in rural areas consider shaving hair is the only solution of problems related to scalp. Same happened with this boy, but shaving head complicated his condition because there was eruptions and the result was inflamed scalp. Dr. Ravi advised his parents to never do this because shaving head can complicate his situation. Considering all his problems Dr. Ravi started his treatment process.
After 29 Days
When he came for follow up on 23rd April 2016, there was improvement in his condition. His major complaints which consists of itching and scarring totally vanished. Initially itching was so frequent that he used to scratch his head with both hands but now there is no such problem. Visible recovery can be seen in his case- as he is totally free from eruptions, inflammable scalp, itching and dryness. Visible hair growth was also seen. Dr. Ravi continued treatment for better recovery.
After 1 Month and 26 Days
When he came for follow up on 20th May 2016 his father was happy with Dr. Ravi’s treatment process. He had no complaints of itching, dryness and scarring. His folliculitis decalvans was cured and there was full hair growth. His father informed about small eruptions on thighs of Masuood. Dr. Ravi made changes in the medicine transmission as per the feedback. He continued treatment for better recovery.
After 3 Months and 22 Days
When he came for follow up on 15th July 2016, visible improvement was seen in his case. There was full hair growth and no new follicles were seen. There was no complaints of itching and scarring. Dr. Ravi suggested to continue treatment for better and permanent recovery.
After 4 Months and 20 Days
When he came for follow up on 12th August 2016, there was a lot of improvement seen. This time he came with full hair growth. He was totally cured of folliculitis decalvans and there was full hair growth and no new follicles seen. He was happy with the treatment and thankful to Dr. Ravi for helping him to completely get rid of this disease.
