A young boy, Armaan Ali visited Dr. Ravi’s Balrampur Clinic on 25 Jan 2013 with his parents. He was suffering from folliculitis. There was one big eruption on his scalp with small eruptions all around. On asking when this problem started, his father told that it started 1 year back with small pustules. There was a lot of itching in it and once scratched it starts to bleed. There was hair loss seen in the area of eruptions. His parents were worried about his condition. They consulted many doctors, but there was no effect in his condition. On analyzing his case in totality Dr. Ravi started his treatment process.
After 15 Days
When he came for follow up on 9th February 2013, there was improvement in his condition. All the eruptions with pustules started drying. Although, there was no hair growth seen in the area of eruptions but no new follicle was either seen. He was on the way to recovery. Dr. Ravi continued treatment for better recovery.
After 1 Month and 5 Days
When he came for follow up on 1st March 2013, there was hair growth seen and hairs had covered all the small eruptions on his scalp. But still there was one big patch on which no hair growth was seen. Although there was relief in pain and itching. The treatment was continued for better recovery.
After 2 Months and 17 Days
When he came for follow up on 12th April 2013, no new follicles were seen. There was relief in pain and itching. New grown hairs are seen and Dr. Ravi suggested to continue treatment for better recovery.
After 3 Months and 15 Days
He came for follow up on 10th May 2013, a lot of hair growth was seen. The big patch on the scalp was covered with hairs all over. On looking very closely one can observe light hairs. There was no new follicle seen and Parents of the child was very happy with the Dr. Ravi treatment process. Doctor suggested to continue treatment for full recovery.
After 4 Months and 20 Days
When he came for follow up on 14th June 2013, he had no complaints and no new follicles were seen. This time he came with full hair growth and no bald patches were visible. He was totally cured of folliculitis decalvans. His parent were happy with the Dr. Ravi’s treatment. The treatment was continued for 1 more month and then stopped as he was fully recovered from this disease.
