Last Updated on : 07 Feb 2010

IMPETIGO contagiosa also called as Nonbullous impetigo is one of the most frequently encountered dermatologic conditions in children. It is a superficial infection of the skin, vesicular or pustular at the onset, which develops through exudative and crusted stages to complete healing without scar formation. Its a highly contagious disease.
Impetigo is caused by S. aureus and/or group A hemolytic Streptococcus (GABHS).
Bullous impetigo is almost always caused by S. aureus and is less common than the typical crusted impetigo.
Impetigo may occur after minor skin injuries, such as an insect bite, abrasion, or dermatitis. The causative relationship between impetigo and acute glomerulonephritis has created greater concern over the entity than that of merely a primary infection of the skin. As high as 68% of the cases of acute glomerulonephritis reported by Blumberg and Feldman had impetigo preceding the renal disease.
This poor fellow has visited at the Balrampur center of Dr.Ravi after a local physician at town area refused to treat according to condition. Boy was really in horrible condition when he has visited the first time. There were blisters and suppuration at and around the ear and chin. He has been assured for a quick recovery by homeopathy against the misconception in society and confidence of Dr.ravi has been well placed. The treatment process of the boy has been started with medicine transmission through hair. Watch out his journey of disease to cure.
