Acne keloidalis nuchae (AKN) is a common chronic disorder involving inflammation and scarring of the hair follicles with subsequent development of keloid-like papules and plaques and scarring alopecia. Its also called as dermatitis papillaris capillitii. The characteristic site of involvement is the posterior scalp and neck. Infrequently, other areas of the scalp are affected.
This boy has visited at dr.ravi's Balrampur center as his mother was already under the treatment. His neck was full of bumps and they are threatened to be suppurating So treatment has been started with medicine transmission through hair.

After 1 Days
Next day boy visited at the clinic, eruptions started drying up. Medicine transmission with same medicine continued
After 10 Days
On 30 Th Sep 205 Patient again visited with mother now almost all eruptions are dried up, due to peeling of scab due to dried eruptions there was suppuration noticed, otherwise condition was much better.
After 24 Days
On 14 Oct 2005 they reported almost all eruptions healed up, and there was no new growth or eruptions. Treatment continued with the same medicine transmission
After 1 Month and 5 Days
On 25th Oct 2005 This was the last visit of the patient, where he was absolutely doing fine, there was not a single trace of the eruption there. Transmission stopped from our end by detaching hair .
