Chyluria or Chylous urine is a medical condition of presence of a milky white lymphatic fluid that is rich in protein and dietary lipids in the form of chylomicrons in the urine. The most important cause of chyluria is impaired circulation of lymph flow by thoracic duct obstruction (part of the lymphatic system) which arises from a variety of causes, including filariasis, trauma, surgical procedure, tumor, and aneurysm. Chyluria occurs in 5.5% of filarial-affected patients. Filariasis is endemic in the tropical parts of Africa, India and southern Asia. As per research data The state of Bihar has the highest endemicity (over 17%) followed by Kerala (15.7%) and Uttar Pradesh (14.6%). Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have about 10% endemicity. Goa showed the lowest endemicity (less than 1%) followed by Lakshadweep (1.8%), Madhya Pradesh (above 3%) and Assam (about 5%). Sporadic cases are also found. It is commonly caused by the parasitic filarial nematode Wuchereria bancrofti (W. bancrofti).

this particular patient has visited the center of Dr.ravi at Lucknow from an endemic Dist of Orissa, her mother is also a patient of filaria and he has also suffered from filaria a few years back. For 2 years he is suffering from milky urine- chyluria. He has undergone the surgical procedure after failed medical treatment, endoscopic installation of Betadine to obliterate the abnormal passage. In the video, he is explaining the procedure. Unfortunately, this procedure has done no good to him and again chyle started. Today on 10/11/2019 Pradumn Das course period of 6 months ( 168 days ) ended. He reported on the phone he has no trouble. So wish to stop the treatment. As he is doing absolutely fine and now also taking fat in the diet without any trouble so his treatment has been stopped by detaching hair from our end.
