On 1st Nov 2018, one young man called Dr.Ravi from Saudi Arabia for his disease Milky Urine -Chyluria. He was aware of the disease as previously he suffered from this while at India. As this is rare or common at Gulf countries hence Doctor at Saudi Arabia were not able to recognize exact nature and prognosis of the case.
Chyluria or Chylous urine is a medical condition of presence of a milky white lymphatic fluid that is rich in protein and dietary lipids in the form of chylomicrons in the urine. The most important cause of chyluria is impaired circulation of lymph flow by thoracic duct obstruction (part of the lymphatic system) which arises from a variety of causes, including filariasis, trauma, surgical procedure, tumor, and aneurysm. Chyluria occurs in 5.5% of filarial-affected patients. Filariasis is endemic in the tropical parts of Africa, India and southern Asia. As per research data The state of Bihar has the highest endemicity (over 17%) followed by Kerala (15.7%) and Uttar Pradesh (14.6%). Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have about 10% endemicity. Goa showed the lowest endemicity (less than 1%) followed by Lakshadweep (1.8%), Madhya Pradesh (above 3%) and Assam (about 5%). Sporadic cases are also found. It is commonly caused by the parasitic filarial nematode Wuchereria bancrofti (W. bancrofti).
Dr.Ravi has treated cases from the different states of India Including Bihar, Bengal, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, etc.
He was finding himself helpless and asking for help. As his work visa has cost too much to him he didn't wish to cancel that and come to India for treatment. Unfortunately, the initial 5 months of treatment has done slight or no good to him and he was losing weight constantly ( protein leak and fat leak ).
His re-case taking has been done in Aug 2019, he has revealed some family matters which she never revealed in the previous interaction. Followup 18 Sep 2019 No Chyle in urine After last Medicine Change.
He is saying feeling better 99 % in chyle there is no chyle in the urine. Previously there were large clots in the urine. After 7 Months and 9 Days
Patient-reported again at the clinic on 14th Nov, he is doing absolutely fine. There is no chyle in the urine. He is gaining strength as protein lean also has been checked. He is also taking fat in the diet but there is no harmful effect or chyle in the urine. He is very happy with the treatment. A recent ultrasound report revealed there is a reduction in the kidney stone size and also there is one stone discharged. Treatment continued.
A Message from Patient
I had suffered from Chyluria 10 years back and at that time Betadine installation in Kidney worked for me, I have gone to Saudi Arab for my Job and for last one years I again suffered from Chyluria. When I tried to find on Youtube, got feared as Doctors were saying long term chyluria may damage the kidney.
