Alopecia areata is a condition that causes hair to fall out in small patches, which can be unnoticeable. These patches may connect, however, and then become noticeable. The condition develops when the immune system mistakenly attacks the hair follicles, resulting in hair loss. Alopecia barbae is patchy hair loss in the beard area.
As these are autoimmune disorder homeopathy has a major role in the treatment of alopecia areata and alopecia barbae.

This case has visited at Dr.ravi's old clinic of Marutipuram in the year 2013. He has been suffering from huge patch hair loss both in beard and head.
He has undergone treatment with a dermatologist with initial improvement but again patches started but this time in large quantity and size. His mother has been treated by Dr.Ravi for Osteoarthritis hence this time he has opted homeopathic treatment.
They were aware of treatment by medicine transmission through hair hence the treatment process has been started with medicine transmission of the selected remedy.
After 1 Month and 3 Days
The patient visited at the clinic for followup. Baby hairs started coming at the spots. Spots are becoming gritty, previously they were shiny. Medicine transmission of same medicine continued for the case.
After 2 Months and 6 Days
Again after one month, the patient visited at the clinic. Improvement seems standstill ant scalp and beard in terms of new hair growth. Although there were no new patches of hair loss but still there has been visible patches. The patient was becoming anxious, power of medicine transmission increased from our center.
After 3 Months and 6 Days
After one month the patient has reported at the clinic. On examination it has been found hair growth in patches has started covering in area of baldness. This time the patient was getting ray of hope and was happy. Treatment continued with the same medicine transmission.
After 5 Months and 7 Days
When on 16/02/2014 patient visited at Lucknow clinic from Ghaziabad, almost all spots disappeared and hardly any spots were visible. There was excellent hair growth in all the bald patches at scalp and beard. The patient was very happy with the treatment. Treatment continued for a few more months.
