Verruca plana also called flat wart, Plane wart or Juvenile wart is cutaneous human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. It is frequently seen in children or young adults. The skin lesions appear as elevated skin with a flat surface, commonly on the extremities and head and neck region. The skin over the lesions may show increased pigmentation. Verruca Plana typically affects individuals with a poor immune system or atopic dermatitis. This infectious condition can spread through direct contact with infected individuals or through contaminated surfaces. They can range between 1-5 mm in size (smaller than verruca Vulgaris) and are well-defined. The lesions are observed on the arms, hands, lower legs, head and neck region (cheek, forehead, around the mouth) There may be increased pigmentation; the lesions may be red-brown. Itching is the most common symptom associated with the lesions; sometimes, pain may be observed. Although it's not a dangerous condition but the presence of chronic skin lesions may cause psychological discomfort; individuals may require reassurance to help with stress and anxiety.
This is the story of a young man working at a healthcare company at Delhi, he was facing this issue of flat warts for more than 9 years, condition grew worse day by day despite best possible treatment with dermatologists. In the year 2014 and 2015, he also underwent cauterization but this was like adding fire in the fury.
He then underwent treatment with a homeopath at Delhi but her treatment also done very little or no good to his condition.
He then found us on while browsing on the internet and visited our center of Lucknow. He has narrated all his journey of disease in great despair.

Nearly in the first 6 months, our treatment has done no good to his condition and again clowds of doubt have surrounded him about the mode of treatment. Dr. Ravi again assured him and re-case taking has been done which revealed the points which he has not told in the earlier deep case taking session. New medicine selection after a careful analysis has been done and this time confidence of Dr. Ravi was well placed. His warts first swelled up slightly and started vanishing.

The patient has reported that warts are getting smaller but in the opinion of Dr.Ravi there was no change, hence medicine transmission has been changed

Today Patient happily shared his pictures of warts over Whatsapp. His patience and trust in doctor have given ultimate success. 70 % of warts got disappeared.

For the last few days, the condition got a standstill.
Allergic dermatitis is getting much better, pimples at thigs got cleared, few eruptions near the neck.
Warts almost dried up, most disappeared.
Allergic Rhinitis is much much better.
Hair fall, worried as the father is bald.
After 11 Months and 9 Days
We have received a call from Vineet about the skin condition. Almost all warts gone, only a few spots remaining and we are sure that will disappear with the time. Vineet also wishes to update about his hair fall trouble and Update to our team Member Dr.Shobha Singh.
He had a plan to visit Lucknow for face to face consultation, but due to the lockdown of the country amid to COVID 19 he could not visit the clinic, hence shared his pictures at Whatsapp.
