This lady consulted Dr Ravi on 15 Jun 2020 from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra with the problem of Blepharospasm.
She is suffering from right eye blinking problem for last 10 years Blepharospasm is an abnormal contraction of the eyelid muscles. It often refers to benign essential Blepharospasm (BEB) which is a bilateral condition and a form of focal dystonia leading to episodic closure of the eyelids.
Modern medical literature states Blepharospasm as a neuropathologic disorder, rather than psychopathologic. But to the personal experience, of Dr Ravi psychology is the causative and maintaining cause. She is living in a joint family, and there was some dispute in the family. Her father in law was dominating and strict, and there were many household affairs with inlaws. She was suffering from Blepharospasm for ten years. There was continuous twitching and blinking in the eye, and her eyelids were frequently closing. The frequency of shutting eyelid used to increase in sunlight or when she is moving or walking. She felt that he was house arrested because of this problem.
Regarding this disease, She consulted many doctors, but there was no sign of improvement in his condition. One of the doctors suggested for a Botox injection.

Today on 8 Sep 2020 Dr Ravi talked with the patient over a video call with the ZOOM, as she told us in the last phone followup that she is 60 % better in her eye condition.
Today on 8 Sep she said she is doing better 70 % in her eye condition. No one believes that she got treated with a piece of hair from Ahmadnagar to Lucknow.
