The pain of pancreatitis is considered as worst pain experienced by humans.
Even it is considered more painful than labour pain.
The pancreas has two parts.
The exocrine part secretes pancreatic juice, which is an essential part of the digestive mechanism.
The endocrine part is meant to control our blood sugar levels.
Viral infection is the most common cause of acute pancreatitis.
Chronic pancreatitis may be the result of alcohol and any pathological growth or gall bladder.
Here is a case of a Doctor who has been experiencing this trouble since 2010
Both parts of the pancreas got affected, and he became insulin-dependent.
He required frequent hospitalization due to acute attacks.
His pancreatic lipase and amylase levels also got increased frequently.
