Here is a case of a lady from Ranchi, Jharkhand, who was experiencing unilateral discharge from the nose. She suffered from COVID in the second wave and was in bad condition. She came out of the death griep with difficulty, but covid cough and sneezing caused her another trouble. She was under the treatment of her friend ( general physician). Due to the constant sneezing and nose discharge, some antiallergic medications and nasal drop. Despite taking those medicines regularly, she was not getting a response, so his friend doubted something else. She was sent to an ENT surgeon who diagnosed the condition as CSF rhinorrhea and prescribed DIAMOX for a month. This helped her, but one day, she stooped for a prayer at a temple, and again few drops came. This case got diagnosed as a case of CSF rhinorrhea after a particular test for this trouble called CT cisternography;
The report revealed the following.

Dependent fluid with air-fluid level is seen in the right middle ethmoid
Sinuses.
After administration of the contrast agent into the thecal sac, there is a contrast opacification of the right middle ethmoidal sinuses through a tiny defect (~1.8x2.1mm) in the overlying cribriform plate.

Active CSF leak due to defect in the right cribriform plate
