Master Hahnemann has differentiated between true and false surgical diseases in Organon of Medicine.
We frequently came across cases in the clinical practice who were told about the need for surgery like appendicitis, kidney stone, large abscess, fistula in ano, fissure in ano, piles, CSF rhinorrhea, Chyluria etc.
Homoeopathic if practised correctly and in the path of Hahnemann, gives us excellent results in many such diseases. If such diseases are cured, the patients are saved not only from the cost of surgery but also from post-surgical complications. At the same time, we should know our limitations and when to refer a case for surgery.
I do accept challenging cases and remember a case of CSF rhinorrhea cured in year 2008, and that has boosted my confidence to take challenging cases.
One of my patient's son was cured of Hirschsprung's disease last year, and I started taking cases of this disease.
We received a call from Chindwara Distt of Madhya Pradesh, where a father was searching for a permanent solution to his son's Hirschsprung's disease or congenital megacolon. His son already underwent 3-stage surgery for the same, but when the problem reoccurred, he approached his surgeon. A rectal biopsy revealed that the ganglion didn't develop, and he left with no hope.
He consulted online through zoom and shared the reports of his son with a ray of hope. He was told about our unique mode of treatment by medicine transmission through hair, and as a last resort, he opted for the treatment. The assistant Dr took a detailed case history over the phone, and treatment started after receiving hair on 6 July 2022 with Lycopodium 0/1. The child made an excellent recovery in his condition.
Today on 13 Nov 2022, Dr Ravi talked with the patient and with the patient's father over a zoom call. He is doing excellent. No constipation. He is passing the stool regularly without any difficulty. Treatment continued.

Father reported over the phone that Shivaay is doing better.
After 2 Months and 3 Days
The father reported over the phone about the condition of his son. He is doing better in his condition of Hirschprung's Disease. His motion are regular now.
After 4 Months and 10 Days
Today on 13 Nov 2022, Dr Ravi talked with the patient and with the patient's father over a zoom call. He is doing excellent. No constipation. He is passing the stool regularly without any difficulty. Treatment continued.
After 5 Months and 1 Days
Father reported at the phone followup call on 5th December that his son is doing fine. He has no gastric trouble as of now.
After 7 Months and 7 Days
On 8 Feb 2023, Dr Ravi talked with the patient's father and watched the patient's condition. The Child is doing fine, and there is no complaint of constipation. He is passing stool regularly without any complications. To know the pathological prognosis of the condition, DR Ravi advised them to go for the Barium enema X-ray; he said it was painful and the Child was getting annoyed., hence Ultrasonography of the abdomen was advised.
After 11 Months and 6 Days
On 7 Jun 2023, Dr Ravi talked with the father and saw the patient's condition. They are very much satisfied with the treatment results. The Child's bowel movement became normal. They wish to continue the treatment. Dr Ravi advised him to get a barium enema x-ray to rule out any remaining pathology.

At our regular phone followup call on 13 June 2024, father of patient reported , Shivay is doing excellent. He don't have any complaint.
