Last Updated on : 27 Jan 2022

Case Started on : 09 Oct 2019

The Chyluria- milky urine disease is rarely observed in children but this is a case of a small kid from Surat Gujrat. This child was losing weight and passing milky white urine for years.
Chyluria is indeed a rare condition characterized by the presence of milky urine due to the leakage of lymphatic fluid into the urinary system. While it is more commonly observed in adults, it can occur in children as well, albeit less frequently.
In this case, it seems that the child's father had difficulty finding a proper diagnosis and effective treatment initially. It's not uncommon for rare conditions to be challenging to diagnose, especially if the symptoms are not well-known or if the condition is not frequently encountered by physicians. Sometimes, seeking information online and finding a specialist who has experience in treating the specific condition can be beneficial.
Dr. Ravi, the specialist in this case, examined the provided information, including photos of the chylous urine, and prescribed a treatment procedure that involved inserting the child's hair into a medicated vial containing Phosphorus 0/1. Although this initial treatment did not yield the expected results. Many medicines including Lycopodium, Calcarea Carb, and Sulphur were transmitted from time to time but the expected result was not there. It's essential to note that finding the right remedy for a particular individual can be a process of careful observation and careful analysis of a case
After re-evaluating the case history, a new remedy picture emerged, and Acid Phos (Acidum phosphoricum) was prescribed. Acid Phos is a homeopathic remedy commonly used for conditions related to weakness, debility, and exhaustion, which may have been applicable in the child's case. It's encouraging that this remedy proved to be curative, leading to the child's recovery, weight gain, and overall improvement in health.
It's important to remember that individual responses to treatments can vary, and finding the right remedy often requires careful observation, evaluation, and adjustments. The expertise and guidance of a qualified healthcare professional, such as Dr. Ravi in this case, are valuable in managing and treating rare conditions like chyluria.
